It feels like just yesterday when the Goole Goddesses took their first steps into a world brimming with feathers, sequins, and an infectious spirit of camaraderie. Under the guidance of Paris Chantilly, a sanctuary was born for women to explore and express their innermost desires and untapped potentials. This wasn’t just a burlesque class, it was the dawn of a transformative journey for many, a place where laughter ricocheted off walls and self-doubt was left at the door.
In those early sessions, an unmistakable magic began to weave its way through the hearts of everyone involved. Each class was a testament to the power of female empowerment, a space where vulnerabilities were transformed into strengths. Goole Goddesses and fellow performers enchanted the audience. The group's rendition of ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’ was a dazzling showcase of harmony and grace, demonstrating their collective talent and hard work. Femme Fatale, Sambuca Storm, and Pink Champagne also took the spotlight, each delivering a solo performance that was a testament to their individual artistry and charisma. The highlight of the Annual Show was undoubtedly the presentation of the class awards, a tradition that honours the exceptional talents and hard work of our performers. This year, three of our Goole Goddesses received accolades that celebrated their achievements and contributions to the burlesque community. Ginny Tipple, with her unwavering commitment and stellar performances, was rightly named Star Of The Class 2022, a testament to her presence and influence. Coco D’Lish, whose dedication is second to none, was awarded Miss Dedicated 2022, recognising her relentless effort and passion. And Violet Siren, whose growth has been both inspiring and remarkable, was awarded Miss Most Improved 2022, highlighting her journey of development and self-discovery. These awards not only acknowledge their individual brilliance but also underscore the supportive and empowering environment fostered within our group, encouraging every member to strive for excellence and embrace their unique talents.

vulnerability in a performance that resonated deeply with the audience. Her ability to convey profound emotion through dance, captivating onlookers with each meticulously choreographed move, underscored her exceptional talent and dedication to the craft.
A Glimpse Into The Dazzling Prop Wardrobe…
In the last two years, the prop wardrobe of the Goole Goddesses has been nothing short of a treasure trove, bringing to life the essence of burlesque with an array of spectacular accessories. Embracing the traditional and the theatrical, these props range from the sensual allure of gloves and boas to the dramatic flair of ostrich fans and sequin skirts. Each piece is carefully selected to complement the routines, adding depth and character to the performances. The incorporation of unusual items like coin skirts and organza capes has showcased the Goddesses' ability to innovate within their art form. With props such as trilby hats and fringe skirts, the group has paid homage to the classic roots of burlesque whilst adding their unique twist.
