The Revelry Of Tease Show on the 30th March 2019 was a night to remember as the Victoria Social Club in Goole filled with excitement and anticipation for the student showcase featuring the talented performers from Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens, and Selby Starlets. Hosted by the glamorous Pinkie T’Boo, the room was buzzing with energy as the audience eagerly awaited the start of the show.

The air was thick with anticipation as months of dedicated preparation led to this pivotal night. The Victoria Social Club buzzed with the energy of an audience comprised of proud family members, supportive friends, and Burlesque With Paris aficionados, all gathered to witness the artistry and passion of the performers.

As the room hummed with lively chatter, it was clear that the audience's eagerness matched the performers' excitement. Every individual in attendance, from those who had seen the shows before to newcomers to the burlesque scene, waited with bated breath for the showcase to commence. This collective anticipation set the stage for an evening poised to dazzle and entertain, showcasing the culmination of hard work by Goole Goddesses, Featherstone Follies, Selby Sirens, and Selby Starlets. The buzz of conversation served as the perfect prelude to the magic that was about to unfold on stage.

As the lights dimmed and the first notes of "These Boots Are Made For Walking" filled the air, the Featherstone Follies commanded the stage with undeniable presence. Clad in their signature denim shorts, checked shirts, corsets, and boots, their opening number was a fusion of sass and style that immediately captivated the audience. Each step and movement, delivered with confidence and flair, drew enthusiastic applause and cheers, setting an electrifying tone for the evening. Emerging onto the stage with a palpable sense of confidence and allure, Heather Ann Lace and Atomic Velvet from Selby Sirens immediately set the temperature soaring. Their chosen soundtrack, "S&M," perfectly complemented the provocative edge of their performance. Donning seductive black leather corsets paired with leather hot pants, the duo embodied the essence of power and seduction. The initial image of their backs turned to the audience, with black ties symbolically wrapped around their wrists, set a tantalising scene. As they cast aside their ties and brandished their floggers with expert precision, the performance escalated into a visual feast of dominion and allure. Stepping onto the stage with an aura of elegance and allure, Pink Champagne, Cinnamon Satin, and Havana Hepburn, representing a unique fusion of Selby Sirens and Selby Starlets, immediately captured the audience's imagination. Adorned in shimmering dresses that caught the light with every move, and accessorised with luxurious black boas, their performance to "Sparkling Diamonds" from Moulin Rouge was nothing short of spectacular. Their routine, filled with playful surprises like pearls cascading from their bras and rose petals gracefully falling during glove removals, was a visual feast. The trio's performance was imbued with a cheeky charm, their synchronised steps and dazzling display of ostrich fans encapsulating the essence of burlesque's spirited and seductive art form. Phoenix Flame, hailing from Goole Goddesses, dazzled the audience with her comedic twist on the classic act of window cleaning. Adorned in brown overalls, Phoenix methodically worked her way through an entertaining striptease, ending in bloomers and tassels, much to the delight of the audience. The cheeky flash of her bottom added an extra layer of intrigue to her performance. Demonstrating her prowess and magnetic stage presence, Phoenix Flame ensured her second solo outing was met with roaring applause and cheer, setting a high bar for the evening and warming the crowd up for the acts that followed. Clad in enticing red lingerie complemented by black fishnet tights and a sheer black lace gown, she embodied the quintessence of temptation. With each movement, she peeled away layers, revealing more of her striking red underwear ensemble, climaxing with a drop to the floor that showcased her sensational floorwork. The audience, enraptured by her seductive dance, watched as she finally unveiled sparkling pasties, marking a thrilling culmination to her act. Tempt L'Animal's performance, a masterclass in the art of burlesque seduction, left an indelible mark on the night, her prowess elevating the temperature in the room and leaving spectators spellbound.

Embarking on her maiden solo journey on the The Revelry Of Tease stage, Coral Kisses, from Featherstone Follies, dazzled the audience with an act that was as glamorous as it was enchanting. Adorned in a black boa that she theatrically discarded along with her hat, gloves, and dress, she revealed an intricately patterned bodysuit paired with tights, embodying the essence of burlesque finery. Her performance, set to the melodious tunes of Patricia The Stripper, was a masterful display of allure and grace. Through her captivating movements and expressive facial gestures, she effortlessly drew the crowd into her world, leaving them spellbound. The cheers and applause that followed her act were not just a celebration of her performance but a testament to her promising future in the Burlesque With Paris realm. Coral Kisses' debut was indeed a memorable milestone, marked by her sassy and seductive showcase that enraptured all who witnessed it.

The interval provided a much-needed break, allowing the exhilarated audience to regroup and refuel after the electrifying performances of the first half. The venue buzzed with lively chatter as attendees shared their highlights and eagerly discussed their anticipations for the acts yet to grace the stage. Glasses were topped up, and the sense of anticipation grew palpable, with every individual keen to see how the remainder of the evening would unfold. This pause in proceedings served not just as a break but as an opportunity to absorb and reflect on the stunning array of talent and artistry displayed so far, priming everyone for the continued revelry and spectacle that awaited.

The stage was then taken by Grandma Licious from Selby Starlets, who completely reinvented herself in a performance that left the audience in awe. Her act, a clever mix of "Grandma We Love You" and "Man I Feel Like A Woman," showcased an unexpected and delightful transformation. Initially appearing as a quaint old lady, complete with a rhinestone walking stick and a trolley, she soon shed this image to reveal a dynamic and vibrant side. As the music transitioned, so did Grandma Licious, discarding her vintage dress to unveil a dazzling corset, ruffle shorts, and stockings beneath. Her energetic removal of glasses, plastic hair cover, and wig further captivated the crowd, each step of her transformation met with louder cheers. This inventive act not only demonstrated her unique ability to entertain and surprise but also highlighted the diverse talents and creative spirit present at the Burlesque With Paris show. Grandma Licious' performance was a true spectacle, blending humour with the transformative power of burlesque.

Embodying the iconic Cruella Deville with a modern burlesque twist, her entrance was nothing short of theatrical. Clad in a fur coat that whispered luxury with every sway, her performance was a captivating blend of elegance and daring. The reveal of a sparkly black dress set the tone for an act filled with allure and sophisticated tease. With the grace of a seasoned performer, she artfully manoeuvred through her routine, each movement more enthralling than the last. The transition to red ruffle shorts, corset, and stockings added a vibrant contrast, enhancing the visual spectacle of her act. Her ability to engage and hold the audience's attention was evident as she concluded with a dazzling display of pasties, ensuring her performance was both a visual and emotional thrill. Scarlett Valentine's act not only showcased her immense talent but also solidified her status as a standout performer, embodying the spirit of tease and enchantment that defines the very essence of the The Revelry Of Tease show.

The evening's festivities kicked off with a bang when Temptress La Animal and her troupe, Sinful Sorella, took to the stage, weaving a narrative of allure and mystery through their Cell Block Tango performance. Clad in their provocative 'lady killer' ensembles, they masterfully lip-synced and danced, enrapturing the audience with every move. Their adept use of props not only embellished their performance but underscored the pivotal moments of their lip-sync, adding depth and drama to the act. This captivating spectacle set the bar high for the performers that were to follow, leaving spectators spellbound. With Temptress La Animal and Sinful Sorella leading the way, the stage was set for a night celebrating the art of burlesque, marked by its uniqueness and the enchanting tales told through dance and performance.

Roxie Rocket, emanating from the ranks of Featherstone Follies, captivated the gathering in her radiant, sparkly dress that seemed to glitter with every step she took. Her performance to "Roxie" was nothing short of a spectacle, embodying sass and style in equal measure. With a natural flair, Roxie moved with precision and grace, her every step and hair flick exuding confidence. The inclusion of adept floor work within her routine not only showcased her technical prowess but also added an exquisite layer to her performance. Each movement was deliberate, each gesture carried the weight of her vibrant personality, engaging the audience fully in her narrative. Roxie's ability to hold the crowd's attention, earning herself an enthusiastic round of applause, was a testament to her unique style and sassy charm that left an indelible mark on the night's festivities.

Pixie Bella, from Selby Starlets, unveiled a performance steeped in mischief and mayhem, channelling the chaos and charisma of Joker and Harley Quinn. With a striking green wig set against a purple lace gown and clutching a pimp stick for added drama, her entrance alone promised a spectacle. The routine began with Pixie Bella commanding the stage floor, her movements embodying the twisted synergy of her characters. As the act progressed, she shed layers, transitioning from her purple gown to a daring leather corset and stockings, each removal synchronised with the crescendo of her performance. The act escalated further when she cast aside her corset and bra, concluding in a flurry of tassels that left the audience spellbound. Pixie Bella's portrayal was not just a dance but a narrative brought to life through her impeccable characterisation and captivating stage presence, ensuring the audience's rapt attention until the very last moment.

Gracing the stage with unparalleled elegance, Paris Chantilly delivered a performance that encapsulated the essence of burlesque in her rendition of Love Me Like You Do. Adorned in a costume that glittered with jewels and beads, every twirl and tease was a testament to her mastery of the art. Paris artfully removed each piece of her attire, from her opulent gown to her enticing fur cuffs, engaging the audience with a performance that was both intimate and spectacular. Utilising beautiful beige peacock feather fans, she crafted a mesmerising display of fan dancing, culminating in a striking pose that mirrored the regal beauty of a peacock. This act wasn't merely a dance, it was a narrative woven through movement and allure, leaving the spectators in awe of her craft. Paris Chantilly, with her showstopping Love Me routine, reaffirmed her status as a luminary in the burlesque scene, embodying the celebration of femininity and the power of performance.
